Structure of the day

Our day is structured to help our children get the very most from their learning experience, children should arrive well rested and ready to learn.

Doors open at 8.25am in EYFS and 8:30am for Years 1-6. The school gates are opened 10 minutes before this and parents are asked to arrive by these times so that children do not miss any valuable learning time.

Each class or year group has a nominated entrance. Members of staff are at the gates and doors and the gates will be locked shut by 8:40am for security reasons.

Children are not allowed to leave the premises at any time during the school day without a verbal or written request from the parent. The child must then be collected from school by an adult via the main entrance.

The school day is 31.25 hours long and is broken down as:
