Uniform

All pupils are expected to wear their uniform to a high standard. This reflects their pride in being part of our academy community, and is important preparation for secondary school, and beyond that, the workplace.

Please ensure that all items have your child’s name written clearly on them. If your child comes into school in the incorrect uniform or with items missing, they will be provided with a spare for the day from our uniform bank, and you will be contacted. We understand that most uniform issues are out of the child’s control and that some families may need support to provide the correct clothing for school. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s school uniform, please contact class teachers in the first instance. We will be able to direct you to appropriate support and, in some cases, can provide missing items. Remember that the church at Illingworth regularly collects and redistributes second-hand uniforms for free. Please see their Facebook page for more information.
